Everything seems so cool and interactive these days. Back when I was a kid, we played with ROCKS and we were happy to have them, because we knew that our parents played with DIRT. Legos are the coolest thing ever! My 6 year old has officially become a lego maniac. He just discovered the Lego based video games recently (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Batman) and will spend all day playing them if we let him.

And to help us jump start that transition, I was able to snag 35 lbs. of LEGOs from a lady who was selling her two boys' LEGO sets. The best part was that she gave it to me for $100; she even admitted that she knew she could get so much more for it, but wanted to unload it asap. It includes pieces from so many sets...
