Meet the Toolbox

Toolbox Dad:  Jeff – a 35 year old Information Technology professional working in for a computer training and consulting company in the Philadelphia suburbs. Enjoys his two children, friends and family, lawn and gardening, cooking and blogging.

The Boss: Cathy – a 35 year old, working mother

“Boo”: Our 3 1/2 year old son (Oct 2004). Loves to think he’s the King of the House (we remind him that he’s only a prince). He’s a little cautious, but lately he’s becoming a little more crazy (which is ok — for now).

“K-Bop”: Our 20 month (Aug 2006) old daughter, going on teen! Seems that she wants to be older than she is, always mimicking her older brother’s every move! She’s a bit wilder and definitely a better eater.

Why did I start this blog?

As a Dad, I try to do a lot for my family. I don’t always do the ‘right thing’ and I know I’m stressed out a lot with juggling, home duties, screaming kids (during meltdowns), preparing dinners and work.  I thought that blogging about my life and children would be a great stress reliever.  I’m just now beginning to open up my real feelings of fatherhood to the blogosphere and hopefully over time will be able to write valuable lessons from what I’ve learned and share them with my readers.
